Calther130 (1966)

In addition to typewriters, Brother also developed addition machines and registers for the office equipment market in the 1960s. Against this background, Brother launched the Calther130, a transistor electronic calculator, in 1966. This calculator was Brother’s first full-fledged electronic product. The success of this product greatly influenced Brother’s future pursuit of the development of other electronic products.
